That’s another one for the books!
Your favorite country stars hit the gray carpet for the 52nd Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas, and as per usual, they didn’t disappoint.
From country power couples to dapper suits to gorgeous gowns…the looks on the carpet were on fire! Just look at queen Carrie. She literally can do no wrong. And does it get more precious than Thomas Rhett and his pregnant wife Lauren? #relationshipgoals
So glad he took home Male Vocalist of the Year. So well deserved!
Those blush and nude toned dresses with a hint of sparkle, of course, were the hit this year. Jessie James Decker slayed as she usually does.
I like to think I got the carpet memo and matched the accents in my hot pink get up. Nothing like going bright for country music!
But the night just kept getting better and better. Inside the T-Mobile Arena, country’s finest were partyin down and living their best lives, including the night’s hosts: Luke Bryan and Dierks Bentley. Talk about a funny duo! They did it again, all while making fun of themselves and having the time of their lives.
Just look at Faith Hill and Nicole Kidman breaking it down. Who wouldn’t want to be their bestie?!
And can we talk about some of those performances?
Yet again, Sam Hunt made all the girls swoon when he performed “Body Like A Back Road” and then embarrassed his fiancee in the cutest way possible by singing to her in her seat. I. Just. Can’t.
Miranda Lambert took the stage – just her and her guitar – to sing us her latest single “Tin Man.” She received a standing O after her performance, while everyone at home hit download. It was a true hit in every since of the word. No wonder she won her 8th consecutive ACM Award for Female Vocalist of the Year. Miranda makin’ history!
Y’all. Never forget…the Backstreet Boys are BACK and they took the ACM stage with Florida Georgia Line to perform “God, Your Mama and Me.” It was life-changing.
Mr. Jason Aldean took home the big prize of the night, garnering his second win for Entertainer of the Year.
The three-hour show was full of amazing moments – some fun, some wild, some raw. It’s a reminder of how country music brings us all together.
